1. Are your portraits hand painted or are they printed on canvas?

Our paintings are completely hand painted from scratch. Our artists do not use any copying, scanning or transfering means. There are many sites which offer photos enchances digitally and mounted on canvas. We are not like them.

2. Are paintings done on canvas or board?

All oil and acryl paintings are done on fine quality canvas. Pastel and watercolor portraits are done on a special high quality cold-pressed paper.

3. How long does it take to finish a painting?

It depends on size and number of persons, along with any special requirements you may have. In shortest cases the proces takes 5 to 7 business days. The most common is 2 weeks period from order to delivery. In case of special ocassion when you need a portrait urgently, you may contact us and we will make special efforts to fulfill your request.

4. Why are you able to offer a lower price compared to many other artists?

Our artists are professionals, educated in the best european traditions in nationaly recognised art academies troughout Eastern Europe. They love their job and their compensations are high enough to please them, living in East European countries, but low enough to satisfy American customers. There are no hidden catches.

5. Can you do black and white?

Yes, we can make black and white, sepia, change colors, or enchance them, It is up to your request.

6. Can you take people from different photos and combine them to make one canvas?

Yes, it is common practice. Especially when you photograph small children, which cannot be kept still all times, you will need more photos if you'd like kids painted together. Or in a case when you want a person and a pet combined, and many other.

7. Can you make larger canvases or special sizes?

Yes, it is up to your request. Just make sure you have sent us any special requirements you may have in advance.

8. Can you remove something or someone out of a picture?

Yes, we can remove details from background, or add them. We can paint a single portrait from a couple's photo, or paint a couple ( group) photo from two or more one-figure photos.

9. Can you change the look of people making them younger or just looking in their best?

Of course. Our artist can make any changes you request. Clothing can be changed, as can hair color, wrinkles or blemishes can be removed. Just make sure you have sent us any special requirements you may have in advance. If you are not sure what would you like to be changed, send us a note, and after reviewing your photo, we will get back to you with our artist's suggestions.

10. Can you change the background?

Yes, we can change the background. Usually we get requests to make backgrounds more simple, more artistic. Sometimes it is a good idea to make a background more romantic, changing a common one with another of your choice.

1. How many photos can I submit?

There is no limit to photos you can send. You can send as many as you like. Sometimes you will need to send us 2 or more photos in case you want us to paint a group combined portrait. Or you can send us more than one photo of the subject you want to be painted, so our artists have more perspectives which could enrich the quality of the portrait.

2. Is this only for digital photos or can you use traditional photos?

You can send all kinds of photos. Traditional ones are being sent by mail, and digital ones are uploaded trough our web site.

3. What's the best file format, resolution, and image size?

Most common formats are jpeg, gif, png, bmp. The larger the file is, the better are details viewed. Any photos are good as long as our artists can clearly see the details of your photo.You can send whatever photos you have on hand. We will review them and in case they are not good enough to be used for a portrait painting, we will contact you further to make sure you send us photos good enough to use in the process.

4. Can you restore old pictures?

Of course we can make a restoration of your old family photos, or retouch of new ones, should they need it. It is free of charge.

5. Can you make a black and white photo color or vice versa?

Yes, it is not a problem.

6. Will my photos be returned?

Yes, your original photo is shipped back to you with with your painting.

1. What payment methods are available?

Paypal, checks, money orders. PayPal allows you to pay with any credit card. The process is simple and you do not need to register in order to pay. Just follow the steps on our order page.

2. How do I pay?

After sending you offer, you will be contacted when your portrait is completed. You may then send the payment due. Your portrait is shipped upon receipt of the payment.

3. I am not comfortable paying over the internet. How else can I pay?

You can pay with a check or money order sent to our address.

4. Is it safe to use my credit card?

Yes, it is completely safe. Our web site order page is designed with the latest security standarts.

5. What is your privacy policy?

We never share your details with any third parties. Your information is safe and secure with us. Our web-site is developed with latest security standarts.

1. What are my shipping options?

We use Fedex, USPS, UPS, DHL, TNT and other, depending on the country where the order is shipped. For US Customers, preffered shipping methods are Fedex and USPS.

2. How are the paintings delivered/shipped?

Your paintings are shipped in special shipping cases, allowing them to stay clear and undamaged. Most portrait sites ship their paintings rolled in tubes, which is not good for the quality of painting. That's why we make special effort to keep your portraits in best condition, shipping them in these special cases.

3. How long does it take to receive my painting ?

Usually it takes 5 business days from shipping to delivery. You will be informed and get a special tracking number to be able to track the delivery time of your order.

1. How many changes can I request?

You can request as many changes as you'd like. When our artists finish painting, we will send you a high quality digital photo of the final result for your approval. If you do not approve it, our artists will make any necessary changes.

2. What if I do not like the painting?

In case you still do not like the painting, after receiving the actual one, you can simply return it. We will send your money back, no questions asked.
